At Bill’s Cafés we make seriously delicious food sourced from great local suppliers. It’s 100 percent homemade, from the bread for your sandwiches to the roast pepper and chilli ketchup with your burger. Read more about our remarkable suppliers at Café @ All Saints and Michaelhouse Café.
Says Bill: ‘I believe that we need to become more democratic about food in this country. You should be able to get a great ham sandwich and a perfect lemon tart without going into a Michelin starred restaurant. That is what we want to do at each of my cafes – serve simple stuff that is fantastic.
In both locations we serve a huge variety of people and we welcome them all.
At All Saints In Hereford we’re busy throughout the day with everyone in town: skinny cappuccinos and toast for solicitors on their way to work; chocolate brownies and lattes for mums with toddlers in the morning; at lunchtime county ladies tucking into smoked trout salad with horseradish crème fraiche or courgette and feta filo pie with patatas bravas and in the afternoon cream teas with our own scones, Herefordshire clotted cream and locally made jam.
At Michaelhouse in Cambridge, we’re overrun with mums and dads celebrating their offspring’s academic success, weary shoppers resting their legs and crowds of summertime visitors searching for that memorable taste of England to take home. In a beautiful location just acroess from Trinity College and Kings College Chapel, Michaelhouse is also home to the Michaelhouse Centre, a home for art, concerts, meetings and other events, sponsored by the church.
